This privacy policy describes how we use information provided by you and collected in the course of your use of our digital assets (the website – www.building.org.il, applications, social networks and related services, smart devices containing technology) as well as information provided by you and collected about you in the course of our services (courses, seminars, professional training, conventions, fairs, conferences, the Transparent House and more).

Your privacy is important to us, and we wish to be transparent about the way in which we use the information you provide to us.
The information we collect about you
Information you provided to us when registering for a mailing list on the site, in the course of your use of the digital assets and in the course of our services:
- Information provided to us by third-party services, to the extent that you used them in order to connect to our digital assets.
- When you use our digital assets, whether by computer, mobile phone or any other means, information arising from your use of our digital assets may be collected by us, such as: the dates and times you entered the digital assets, the pages you visited, the length of your stay in the digital assets, activities you took part in within the digital assets and more — including through the use of technological identifiers embedded in the equipment you use and/or in the technological services you use, such as: IP address.
- We and our business partners may use "cookies" or similar technologies (including social networks such as Facebook/Meta, Google and others) or tracking technologies which use a file we send to the device through which you connect to the digital assets. This file, which is visible and accessible to us, stores information about how the device in your possession is used, and this helps us to adapt the digital assets better to you. We may also embed our own information in this file for that purpose. In most cases you have the option to block the use of "cookies" through the software with which you browse the digital assets, but this may impair the way the digital assets function.
- Any information you uploaded to our digital assets.
- Any use of the means or features available in our digital assets.
- Completion of lists.
- The manner in which you complete forms in the digital assets and the choices you make within them.
- Information received about you when you leave your details with us and/or with suppliers acting on our behalf.
Information you provided to us and that we receive in the course of the services, including participation in courses, seminars, conventions, fairs, professional training, conferences, the Transparent House and more.

How do we share the information?
We do not share information identified with you with third parties, except with our suppliers to the extent required for the purposes of providing the services, operating the digital assets, the mailing lists and the information sent to the subscribers on those lists, and with our business partners, as detailed further below.
Notwithstanding the above, we may disclose information about you if we believe that: it is required by law, or in order to enforce or protect our rights or the rights of our customers, our business partners, our users or our suppliers, or in order to enforce this policy or the terms of use of the digital assets; or, in the event that we carry out or evaluate a transaction such as a merger, an acquisition by another company, or a sale of all or part of our assets, we may disclose or transfer all of your information, including personal information, to the receiving entity.
When you leave your details (for example in "contact us" forms, registration for a call, seminars, courses, conventions, conferences, study tracks or any other enquiry form), or when you approach us through social networks, WhatsApp or email, you give your explicit consent for us to get back to you using the details you provided (including by telephone, SMS or WhatsApp messages, or email).

We are entitled to transfer the details and information we have collected about you (including information you entered in forms, contact details, registration data and information about your studies) to our business partners, to lecturers, educational institutions, teachers and coordinators acting on our behalf, and to any third party to the extent required in order to contact you, provide academic/professional advice, tailor the study track and deliver the studies; the ongoing operation of the courses, seminars, conventions, fairs, conferences, professional training and study programmes (including attendance management, assessment of assignments and answering questions); and the delivery of study materials, updates and notices relating to study content.
Lecturers and academic staff will use the information solely for the purposes for which it was transferred to them and in accordance with the Company's instructions.
Activity on social networks and third-party platforms
We operate official pages and profiles on various social networks (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and the like). Any information you choose to share, upload or publish on those pages (such as comments, likes, photographs or direct messages) will also be subject to the terms of use and privacy policy of the relevant platform. It is clarified that we may use information provided by you when contacting us on social networks for the purposes of providing service, responding to enquiries and marketing segmentation.
The networking app at our events
At events and conferences we hold, including the Real Estate City Eilat conference, we offer attendees a dedicated networking app ("the App"), designed to let attendees make professional connections with one another.
- Joining the App is voluntary and is done through a personal link sent to you. Using it requires a separate, explicit consent given inside the App itself, in the wording presented there.
- Once you join, the profile details you provide in the App — name, company, role, photo, areas of interest and a short description — are shown to other attendees of the event.
- Your contact details (phone number and email address) are released only to another attendee with whom a mutual match was made in the App — that is, only when both sides have expressed interest in connecting.
- You may at any time hide your profile, stop using the App, or contact us to review, update or delete your details at Finance@building.org.il.
- The App is operated for us by a technology provider acting on our behalf, subject to this policy and to applicable law.
Mailing list
If you have registered for a mailing list on the site, you hereby give your consent to receive by email/mobile information relating to the areas of interest on the site, including promotional information. Notwithstanding the above in this sub-section, you may ask us to remove you from the mailing list in the same manner in which we contacted you.
Miscellaneous
In accordance with the provisions of sections 13 and 14 of the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, you are entitled to request to review the information collected about you and/or to have it corrected.
For the avoidance of doubt it is clarified that nothing in these terms derogates from or exhausts our rights to collect, use and/or disclose information under any law, and that the provisions of this chapter are in addition to the provisions of any law.
For the avoidance of doubt, nothing stated above prevents us from complying with any instruction from a competent authority to deliver and transfer information about you to it.
Use of the digital assets and the services constitutes your consent to the terms of this privacy policy, to the use of the technologies described and of other technologies as they may be from time to time for similar purposes, including the use of information accumulated by them in order to identify and/or characterise you on their basis.
